Doctor Anna S Herrey

Dr Anna Herrey is a Consultant Cardiologist at Barts Heart Centre, where she serves as Clinical Lead for Cardiac CT. Her particular areas of expertise are cardiovascular imaging and heart disease in pregnancy. In imaging, she works within one of the UK's largest cardiac imaging programmes, with a focus on CMR and cardiac CT, and teaches on imaging programmes in several low- and middle-income countries. She runs and contributes to maternal cardiology services at Barts, including a dedicated preconception counselling clinic, and is a cardiology assessor for the national confidential enquiry into maternal death (MBRRACE-UK). Through the UK Maternal Cardiac Society, she leads on education and was instrumental in securing the inclusion of maternal cardiology in the 2022 UK core cardiology syllabus. She is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London and the University of Cape Town.
