Biography
I am an attending cardiologist @ West German Heart and Vascular Medicine Center in Essen, Germany where I lead the Cardio-Oncology Outpatient Unit und the Congenital Heart Disease Unit. I also activate as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Essen, Germany. I studied medicine at the University of Medicine "Carol Davila" Bucharest, Romania and completed my residency in cardiology at the Bucharest Emergency University Hospital. 2016 I was awarded a Research Grant from the European Society of Cardiology and since then i continue my research and clinical development at the West German Heart and Vascular Medicine Center in Essen, Germany. My main research interests are in cardio-oncology, congenital heart disease and gender medicine.
