Biography
Juanita Fewkes is a PhD student in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Monash University, where she researches cardiovascular health and endothelial function. Her work focuses on the impact of dietary factors on vascular health, particularly through non-invasive biomarkers and postprandial responses. Her research advances non-invasive cardiovascular risk assessment (Flow-mediated dilation) and clarifies dietary influences, including high-fat meals and polyphenols, on vascular health. She is also a member of the Victorian Heart Institute.
