Biography
Davide Ramoni is a Medical Doctor and board-certified Internal Medicine specialist, currently undertaking PhD training in Translational and Clinical Internal Medicine under joint supervision between the University of Genoa (Italy) and the University of Svizzera Italiana (Institute for Translational Research, Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale, Bellinzona, Swiss). His research focuses on translational medicine, integrating clinical data with molecular and biomarker-based approaches to investigate inflammatory, thrombotic and metabolic mechanisms involved in cardiovascular diseases. He has contributed to the scientific community through presentations at international congresses and publications in indexed journals. He also serve as a peer reviewer for several international cardiovascular journals. He has been an active member of the EU METAHEART COST Action (CA22169). Selected for the first ESC Fund Basic Science Course 2026. Outside academia, he’s a football goalkeeper and sport enthusiast.
