Mr David Belcak

David is a 6th-year medical student at Charles University, Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové, where he has received a scholarship for academic excellence for five consecutive years. He was also awarded a special merit scholarship in 2025. He actively participates in clinical practice and scientific research activities at the 1st Department of Internal Medicine - Cardioangiology at the University Hospital Hradec Králové. His research contributions include a study highlighting a novel phenomenon in stress echocardiography. He is now working on developing a deep learning model in order to improve the pre-test probability of CAD. David aims to continue his academic and clinical development in cardiology with strong interests in cardiac imaging and artificial intelligence.
