Wiktoria Karos is a medical student at the Medical University of Gdańsk (GUMed), where she began her MD studies in 2021. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology, combining her interest in molecular biology with clinical medicine. Although still early in her professional journey, she actively seeks opportunities to grow and define her scientific focus. She is particularly interested in exploring cardiovascular diseases at the molecular level and investigating how biotechnology can support the prevention of metabolic disorders in individuals at cardiovascular risk. Her developing interests lie at the intersection of molecular mechanisms, translational research, and preventive cardiology. Wiktoria has gained experience through clinical placements, research involvement, and public health initiatives. She enjoys working in interdisciplinary teams and contributing to scientific and educational projects.
