Dr Panagiotis Simitsis MD, MSc, PhD(c), FHFA is a Consultant Cardiologist & Intensivist currently working in the 2nd Univ. Dept. of Critical Care at "Attikon" University Hospital in Athens.
He had his sub-specialty clinical training in Heart Failure at King's College Hospital (London, UK) and also in Intensive Care Medicine at "Attikon" University Hospital (Athens, Greece).
He is currently a nucleus member of the Hellenic Society for the Study of Pulmonary Hypertension a Fellow of ESC Heart Failure Association and a Member of the ESC Committee on Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction (2020-2021).
He holds an MSc in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Athens Medical School, 2011) an MSc in Statistics (Athens University of Economics and Business, 2015) an MSc in Health Economics, Outcomes and Management in Cardiovascular Sciences (London School of Economics, 2018) and a certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Heart Failure by the University of Zurich and ESC. He is PhD candidate.
