Doctor Panagiotis Simitsis

Dr Panagiotis Simitsis MD, MSc, MBA, PhD(c), FHFA is a Consultant Cardiologist & Intensivist in the Dept. of Critical Care Medicine at Attikon University Hospital (Athens, Greece). He has been a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in MCS and heart transplant at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA). Had his clinical training in Heart Failure at King's College Hospital (London, UK) and also in Intensive Care Medicine at Attikon University Hospital. He is a Fellow of ESC Heart Failure Association and has served as a Member of the ESC Committee on Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction (2020-2021). MSc in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Athens Medical School, 2011); MSc in Statistics (Athens University of Economics and Business, 2015); MSc in Health Economics, Outcomes and Management in Cardiovascular Sciences (London School of Economics, 2018); Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Heart Failure by the University of Zurich.
