Biography

Dr. Lorenzo Pelagatti is a Medical Director in the Emergency Medicine and Surgery Unit at Careggi University Hospital, Florence, where he also completed his specialization in Emergency Medicine. A graduate with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Florence, he holds a Level II Master's in Interventional Pulmonology. His clinical and research interests focus on acute care, cardiopulmonary emergencies, and innovative diagnostic tools, with contributions to numerous peer-reviewed publications on COVID-19, pulmonary embolism, and point-of-care ultrasound.
