Biography
Second year PhD student working with the University of Lincoln Cardiorenal group in collaboration with Lincoln County Hospital (UK), with research interests in cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis, inflammation, diabetes and chronic kidney disease. Currently working on determining the mechanism of action of a lipid lowering drug in a clinical trial utilising blood samples from individuals with cardiovascular disease, in the presence or absence of type 2 diabetes.
