Sarah Kaye Mueller did her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biomedical technology and is currently a PhD student at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence in Cardiovascular Medicine (AICM) at the University Hospital Heidelberg. Her areas of expertise include Deep learning for Cardiac Image Processing, especially in cine Cardiac MRI, and Multimodal AI. In addition to the technical aspects, her research areas involve Heart Failure with preserved Ejection Fraction (HFpEF). She is also a member of the research team for the physical mitral valve repair simulator.
Besides her research, she is a trained yoga teacher, actively practises bouldering and dancing, and enjoys vegan cooking and baking. She is fluent in English and German and is currently learning Spanish.
