Dr. Lu Fanglin is the Director of the department of cardiovascular surgery, Shanghai General Hospital. He has served as a member of the Cardiovascular Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. He is the vice chairman of Shanghai valvular disease intervention center alliance. He is the standing member of Heart Valvular Disease Committee of China Research Hospital Association, Deputy Director and Secretary General of Interventional Technical Committee. He has been engaged in clinical and basic research work of cardiothoracic surgery for more than 30 years, and has accumulated surgical experience in treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Lu is the inventor of LuX-Valve, the first transcatheter tricuspid valve replacement device in China, Moreover, he has fistly mentioned the new concept of "Radial Force Independence” and "Tricuspid Regurgitation Syndrome”. Nowadays, He is focusing the field for research on tricuspid valve disease and novel valve materials.
