Ms Hannah McGowan

Hannah is a PhD candidate of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Digital Health and Prevention and Maastricht University. Her research area lies in the field of cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention - investigating patient behaviors of long-term physical activity engagement and healthcare providers' perspective on the usage of digital health interventions to aid in CVD prevention. Her expertise in Psychology (Neuro-Cognitive Psychology, MSc) and experience in Human-centered interaction (HCI) work has led to her interest in creating sustainable, patient- and healthcare provider-centered digital solutions for the prevention and treatment of noncommunicable diseases.
