Biography
Trained in the Dominican Republic and shaped through residency in Internal Medicine in New York City, he is currently pursuing advanced fellowship training in Cardiology and Heart Failure at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. His work centers on the intersection of advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and pulmonary vascular disease, with a focus on physiology-guided strategies that translate complex hemodynamics into meaningful clinical decisions. He is particularly interested in redefining how we assess and manage residual cardiovascular risk through pragmatic, imaging-based approaches. Driven by curiosity and precision, he approaches cardiovascular medicine as both a science and a system to be understood, where small physiologic insights can lead to significant clinical impact. Outside of medicine, he values perspective, balance, and humor, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
