Assistant Professor Renato Jorge Alves

Graduated in Medicine 1987, University of Vassouras, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He got Specialization in Internal Medicine 1988, and Cardiology 1989 and 1990, in Sao Paulo. In 1992, he obtained the title of Cardiology Specialist by Brazilian Society of Cardiology. He got the Doctorate, in the section of Cardiology, in 2003, at the Heart Institute – InCor-HC, Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sao Paulo. He is currently Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa of Sao Paulo. He has been responsible for the Lipid Clinic and Head of the Cardiology Department of the Santa Casa of Sao Paulo Hospital. Member of the ESC. He has experience in Scientific Research, mainly in dyslipidemia, atherosclerosis and atrial fibrillation. Nowadays He is Cardiology Brazilian Society Atherosclerosis Department Director, and Head of the Cardiology Department of the Santa Casa Hospital - São Paulo, Brazil.
