Doctor Bimmer Claessen

Bimmer Claessen is an interventional cardiologist at the Amsterdam University Medical Center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands with a specific focus on performing complex and high-risk coronary interventions. He leads a research group investigating the diagnosis and management of coronary atherosclerosis and has published >250 papers in peer-reviewed medical journals on this subject. He is the principal investigator of the ongoing DELETE-LRP trial (NCT07107971) investigating the identification and treatment of vulnerable lipid-rich plaque and RECORD-DCB study (NCT07231835) investigating clinical outcomes in all-comers undergoing DCB PCI.
