Annamaria Brioli is a consultant and Head of bMyeloma Clinic and Research Program at Hannover Medical School, Germany. She holds a MD and a PhD degree, both from the University of Bologna, Italy. Following her medical training, Dr Brioli undertook a series of internships and observerships specializing in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology with the Clinical Hospital Center in Rijeka, Croatia, the University of Debrecen, Hungary, and the University of Bologna. She was previously a visiting registrar and clinical research fellow in the hematology units of the Institute of Cancer Research and The Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, both in Sutton, UK, and is past Head of the Outpatient Clinic at the Jena University Hospital in Jena, Germany and of the Myeloma Program at Greifswald University Medicine. Dr. Brioli research interests are multiple myeloma (biology and clinic), frailty and frail patients and CML blast crisis.
