Mian Zahid Jan Kakakhel is a final-year MBBS student at Rehman Medical College, Peshawar, with a strong focus on clinical research, digital health, and cardiovascular medicine. He is President of the Students Research Society and founder of NextGen Health Researchers, a non-profit that has trained 2,000+ students nationwide. He has led national and international research conferences, including the 2025 FMRP Global Course featuring 30+ global mentors. His work spans cardiology, oncology, neurology, gastroenterology, and infectious diseases, with publications in Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, Neurological Sciences, Annals of Medicine and Surgery, Journal of Thoracic Oncology, and Gastroenterology. He has presented at ASCO, DDW, ELCC, HRS, and SCAI. He has received the 2025 Young Investigator Award (IHRC) and Best Researcher Award (RMC). Beyond research, he mentors young scholars and is passionate about AI-driven healthcare in resource-limited settings.
