I am a Rehabilitation Physician at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona. I completed my medical degree at the Central University of Venezuela, followed by a PM&R residency in Spain, and I am currently pursuing my PhD. With more than ten years of experience in Rehabilitation Medicine, my work in recent years has centered on Cardiopulmonary and Cancer Rehabilitation, particularly in patients with onco‑hematologic conditions. I lead the department’s Frailty Clinic, where I assess and manage individuals at risk of sarcopenia. My research focuses on exercise‑based rehabilitation, biomarkers, and the use of muscle ultrasound in oncology and frailty. I also integrate digital tools into clinical practice.
