Doctor Iliyan Kanchev

Dr. Iliyan Kanchev was born on December 5, 1999, in Varna. He completed his secondary education in 2018 at the Third Mathematics High School "Acad. Methodiy Popov" in Varna as the top graduate of his class. In 2024, he graduated with full honors (6.00) from the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" in Varna and was awarded the "Golden Hippocrates" prize. In October 2024, he began working as a resident physician at the Internal Medicine Clinic of UMHAT "St. Marina" in Varna, and from January 2025, he joined the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine at MU-Varna and became a resident in Cardiology. His scientific interests are in the areas of echocardiographic and magnetic resonance imaging diagnostics and cardiovascular involvement in benign and malignant haematopathies. He is fluent in English and German.
