Biography
Dr. Enrico Libralesso graduated with honours (MD, summa cum laude) in Medicine and Surgery in July 2023. He is currently a Cardiology Resident at the University Hospital of Padua, one of Italy’s leading academic and tertiary referral centres in cardiovascular medicine. His academic interests are primarily centred on cardiovascular pathophysiology and on the mechanistic understanding of complex disease processes. He is interested in the biological and haemodynamic interactions underlying the development of cardiovascular syndromes, with a focus on integrating clinical observation, physiological reasoning, and evidence-based interpretation into daily practice and research. He maintains a strong interest in the analytical and physiopathological dimensions of clinical cardiology, especially in scenarios where multiple systemic mechanisms converge. Outside the clinical and academic setting, he is passionate about scuba diving and alpine trekking. He speaks Italian, English, and French.
