Dr Levis is a Radiation Oncology, working as Associate Professor at the Department of Oncology of the University of Torino (Italy). His area of clinical and research activity is focused on haematological diseases, lung cancer, brain cancer, stereotactic arrhythmia radioablation and prevention of cardiac complication in long term cancer survivors. He achieved a PhD degree, focused on the prevention and early detection of radiation induced heart complications in lymphoma patients treated with modern radiotherapy. He also serves ESTRO as teacher for ESTRO school courses and contouring workshops. He has experience in scientific research, working on international projects, including phase II and III clinical trials. He is leading several research projects, focused on hematological diseases and in the prevention of radiation induced heart toxicity in patients receiving thoracic radiotherapy.
