Doctor Katharina Grimm

Dr Katharina Grimm is the Medical Lead at the Fédération Internationale de Football Associations (FIFA) where she directs all medical services planning and implementation at FIFA tournaments globally. She has held management and leadership positions in international elite sports for 18 years, focussing on athlete health and performance. Before rejoining FIFA in 2021, she worked at Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine hospital in Qatar. Katharina serves on the Union of European Football Associations’ Therapeutic Use Exemption Committee and is a member of the Board of Directors at the Center for Sports Equity at Stanford.
