Biography
I am a cardiology trainee currently in my fifth year of specialty training at Antwerp University Hospital (UZA), Belgium. I obtained my medical degree with distinction from the University of Antwerp after completing six years of medical training. Following graduation, I completed three years of internal medicine training in the Antwerp region, including rotations at Heilig Hart Hospital Lier, AZ Klina Brasschaat, and Antwerp University Hospital (UZA) in Edegem. I subsequently started my subspecialty training in cardiology, with a strong focus on clinical and academic development at UZA. From October 2026, I will complete the final year of my cardiology training at Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg (ZOL) Genk, with planned certification as a cardiologist in October 2027. My clinical interests lie in general cardiology, with a particular focus on acute cardiac care and interventional cardiology.
