Marta Ferrer-Cornet is a biomedical engineer with a strong background in computational modelling and clinical data analysis. She holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Barcelona.. She has experience in hospital-based research environments, including the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute, where she developed software tools in MATLAB and performed statistical analysis of cardiovascular data. Her research interests focus on haemodynamics, aortic aneurysms, and image-based modelling. She is particularly engaged in applying 4D flow MRI data to improve understanding of vascular disease progression.
