Doctor Sultana Jahan

Dr. Sultana Jahan is an Internal Medicine resident (PGY-3 ) at Valley Health System in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a strong interest in academic cardiology and cardiovascular research. Her research interests include cardiovascular prevention, heart failure, cardiogenic shock, artificial intelligence in cardiovascular care, and healthcare disparities. She is the Principal Investigator of the "Early-Onset Heart Disease Prevention, Screening & Education Program for High-Risk Communities," a community-based initiative focused on early cardiovascular risk detection and prevention, supported by a $20,000 American College of Cardiology Foundation Community Demonstration Project Research Grant. She also serves as Co-Principal Investigator of a prospective heart failure study evaluating MayaRED, a digital conversational agent designed to improve discharge education, patient engagement, and transitions of care. Outside of medicine, Dr. Jahan enjoys traveling and community outreach.
