Biography
Dr. Priyanka Boettger is a cardiologist and clinical researcher at the University Hospital Giessen and a scholarship holder of the ESC Academy. She is pursuing a double Master’s degree in Health Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) as well as a Master of Public Health (MPH). Her academic work centers on cardiogenic shock, stroke, and cardioembolic disease, integrating clinical research with sustainability and economic evaluation and value-based cardiovascular care. She leads prospective cohort studies and develops Markov-based cost-effectiveness models to inform sustainable decision-making in acute cardiovascular medicine. Dr. Boettger is committed to advancing cardiovascular care at the intersection of clinical excellence, policy innovation, and health system transformation. She speaks German, English, Mandarin, French, and Hindi, and enjoys opera, fine dining, travel, and the arts.
