Doctor Gustavo Mendes

Dr. Gustavo Henrique Mendes Ferreira is a cardiology resident at the Heart Institute (InCor) of the University of São Paulo and internal medicine graduate from IAMSPE, Brazil. He holds a medical degree from the Federal University of Bahia, where he also participated in educational, research, and community health extension projects. His main areas of interest include heart failure, coronary artery disease, and valvular heart disease. He has published case reports in cardiovascular emergencies and non-compacted cardiomyopathy. Dr. Ferreira is passionate about medical education, humanization in healthcare, and evidence-based medicine. He speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and enjoys Brazilian music and literature.
