Doctor Jie-Xin Zhang

Dr. Jie-Xin Zhang is a cardiologist and postdoctoral researcher at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College, Beijing, China. Her work centers on congenital heart disease, paediatric cardiology and pulmonary hypertension. She is the principal investigator of a Young Scientists Fund project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). She also plays a leading role in a national paediatric pulmonary hypertension registry (NCT07495774). Her research integrates large-scale population data, including the UK Biobank, with advanced statistical approaches to generate clinically relevant evidence for risk stratification and disease management.
