Prof. Peder S. Olofsson, MD, PhD, is the Head of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Department of Medicine, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. He studies how interactions between nerves and immune cells regulate inflammation and blood vessel physiology.
