Dr. Amina Mohamed is a passionate, and talented young physician, hoping to pursue Clinical Cardiology in the near future. Currently under the mentorship of an Interventional Cardiologist-Dr. Mohsen Gaballa-at M P Shah Hospital Nairobi, Kenya, working as a resident doctor in the Department of Cardiology. She holds a Master's Degree in Internal Medicine, and recently completed an echocardiography course (commenced in October 2023) organised by the Kenya Cardiac Society in collaboration with the American College of Cardiology. Her research areas include innovations in Interventional Cardiology, Heart Failure and Cardiac Imaging. She speaks English, Kiswahili and a bit of Arabic with excellent interpersonal skills, and proven ability to work in high-stress environment with a multidisciplinary team. She enjoys swimming, painting, and nature walks. She hopes to serve humanity, and make a difference in the lives of people living with cardiovascular conditions.
