Doctor Amina Mohamed

Dr. Amina Mohamed is a passionate, and talented young physician, hoping to pursue Interventional Cardiology. Currently under the mentorship of Dr. Mohsen Gaballa-Interventional Cardiologist- at M P Shah Hospital Nairobi, Kenya, working as a resident doctor in the Department of Cardiology. She holds a Master's Degree in Internal Medicine, and recently completed a PanAfrican Course on Interventional Cardiology, and an echocardiography course organised by the Kenya Cardiac Society in collaboration with the American College of Cardiology. Her research areas include innovations in Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology and Cardiac Imaging. She speaks English, Kiswahili and Arabic with excellent interpersonal skills, and proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. She enjoys swimming, painting, and nature walks. She hopes to serve humanity, and make a difference in the lives of people living with cardiovascular conditions.
