Mrs Wendy Davis

Eastbourne (United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland)

My name is Wendy Davis & I live in Eastbourne on the South Coast of England with my 16 year old son & our dog. I work full time as a Statistics & Data Manager for a large private healthcare company & also enjoy being a patient representative too. I have a number of heart conditions including a mechanical heart valve, a pacemaker & Atrial Fibrillation amongst some others. I also had a stroke 4 years ago caused by Atrial Fibrillation. All of these have changed my life significantly but have given me a deeper appreciation for life and wanting to make the most of every day. I'm passionate about both health & data and wanted to being part of the ESC Patient Forum especially as I think both younger and female patients are under represented in many patient forums. I'm currently a member of the Patient Advisory Group & Clinical Studies Committee representative for the British Heart Foundation & I'm working for the European Heart Network on a 4 year project called AIDAVA amongst other work.
