I am a PhD candidate at the School of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Health, University of Glasgow. My research is looking at the association of anaemia with cardiovascular and metabolic disease across the spectrum of the population. I am a medical doctor by profession and have spent significant years working at the emergency department as a resident medical officer and at primary care practice as a general practitioner. Ive had my medical degree from the University of Malaya and have completed my foundation training at the University Malaya Medical Centre. I also completed my postgraduate program at the University of Edinburgh in Critical Care and the University of Birmingham in Trauma Medicine. My research interest is in mainly in clinical medicine, especially in the field of cardiovascular and metabolic medicine.
