Biography
Octavian Amaritei, MD is a third-year cardiology resident at the Emergency Clinical Hospital “Sf. Andrei”, Galați, Romania, and a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați. He teaches physiology and cardiology to international medical students in English. His clinical and research interests focus on cardiovascular prevention, lipid disorders, and interventional cardiology. He is a member of the Romanian Society of Cardiology and the European Association of Preventive Cardiology (ESC). Outside clinical activity, he maintains an active interest in sports, particularly football and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, which also shapes his perspective on cardiovascular health and prevention.
