Doctor Lilian Mantziari

Dr Lilian Mantziari is a specialist Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist and Head of the EP Department at Interbalkan Medical Centre, Thessaloniki, Greece. She has been an EHRA fellow in interventional electrophysiology with Prof Sabine Ernst at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London, UK where, additional to the common arrhythmias, she was trained in catheter ablation of arrhythmias in ACHD and children. During her 6 year EP training there she gained experience in catheter ablation of complex arrhythmias using novel mapping systems and tools such as magnetic navigation, and she was involved in the initial human studies with the Rhythmia mapping system. Currently she is performing high volume of catheter ablations for AF, SVT and VT in adults and children and in patients with congenital heart disease. She also performs pacemaker/ICD/CRT implantations. Dr Mantziari is married to Dr Kontogeorgis, cardiologist-electrophysiologist and they have 3 children.
