Biography
Anniek Strijdhorst is a Medical Doctor and PhD student at the Amsterdam University Medical Centers in the Netherlands at the department of Vascular Medicine and the department of Oncology. She started her PhD trajectory under the supervision of Prof. Dr. H.W.M. van Laarhoven, Dr. N. van Es and Dr. T.T.P. Seijkens in July 2022. Her research focuses on cardiovascular effects of immune therapy, with a special emphasis on investigating the etiology of (arterial) thromboembolic events in cancer patients undergoing immune checkpoint inhibitor treatment.
