Biography
I am a Medical graduate of Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo. Doctor of Science with accentuation in medical entomology by Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. With candidacy in Sistema Nacional de Investigadores, Mexico. During the PhD I acquired knowledge of the transmission dynamics of Trypanosoma cruzi (Tc) and received training from clinical researchers with extensive experience in Chagas Disease (CH). This has allowed me to gain experience in the detection of cases of CT infection in different contexts using clinical-epidemiological knowledge. I am part of the Ibero-American network of clinical researchers of new diagnostic and therapeutic tools for CD, I am a clinical advisor to the Mexican association of patients with EC and was a professor of medical/nursing/dentistry students at a state university in Oaxaca.
