Biography
Dr Vijay Shyam-Sundar is a Cardiology Resident at Barts Heart Centre with a subspecialty interest in coronary intervention. He has completed a Barts Charity awarded Clinical PhD in Cardiology and Machine Learning at the William Harvey Research Institute, Queen Mary University of London. He is currently undertaking a NHS Fellowship in Clinical AI focussed on deployment at Kings College Hospital. He has research interests in machine learning, coronary intervention, cardiac MRI and preventive cardiology with several presentations and publications in these fields. He enjoys playing the violin and performs regularly with the West London Sinfonia.
