Dr Sukh Nijjer is a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in Coronary Intervention working at the Hammersmith Hospital and Chelsea & Westminster Foundation NHS Trust. His main focus has been coronary physiology and he has worked as part of the Imperial College Coronary Physiology group to publish widely in the field. His PhD work was pivotal in the development of iFR-mapping of the coronary stenoses to help guide intervention. He has worked on several landmark studies including the DEFINE-FLAIR study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, and the ORBITA-study published in the Lancet. He has an interest in Acute Coronary Syndromes, anti-platelets and anti-coagulants.
