Miss Yuxiu Yang

Yuxiu Yang is a doctoral candidate in Cardiology at Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Capital Medical University, beginning in September 2023. Yang holds a Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine from Peking Union Medical College and Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and a Bachelor of Medicine in Clinical Medicine from Jilin University. Yang’s research focuses on acute myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndrome, percutaneous coronary intervention, intracoronary imaging, cardiometabolic risk stratification and mitochondrial-targeted therapeutics for diabetic cardiomyopathy. Since 2024, Yang has published five first-author SCI-indexed papers and has delivered oral presentations at major national and international cardiovascular conferences, including ESC Congress. Yang is experienced in IVUS interpretation, cohort analysis, manuscript preparation and grant writing. Yang speaks Chinese, English and basic Spanish.
