Dr. Hiroki Sugane is a physician-scientist specializing in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease. He received his MD in 2012 and his PhD in 2025. His clinical and research expertise spans transcatheter valve therapies, including TAVI, MTEER, and LAAC, with a particular focus on imaging-based predictors of clinical outcomes and procedural optimization. Additionally, he has extensive experience in treating acute coronary syndromes (ACS) and managing mechanical circulatory support (MCS) for critically ill patients.
Dr. Sugane completed advanced training in interventional cardiology at the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center (NCVC) in Japan, where he was recognized as the Best Outstanding Fellow in 2019.
