Doctor Clara Ines Saldarriaga

Prof Saldarriaga FESC- FACC is a titular professor at the University of Antioquia and head of the cardiology program at Pontificia Bolivariana University and the former president of the Colombia Society of cardiology, firts women in this position. Her research interests include heart failure and cardiovascular disease in women, she is a clinical trialist with a lot of experience as a principal investigator and Steering committee member. To help another women in cardioloy to develop their carreers is also one of her passions, she is also involved as a mentor for early carreers cardiologist and work actively with organizations like women as one. The development of new models for heart failure care in low and middle income countries is also one of her topics of work.
