Doctor Rony Santoso

Dr. Rony Santoso is a consultant interventional cardiologist with extensive experience in complex coronary intervention and cardiovascular medicine. Practicing in interventional cardiology since 2012, he currently serves as Head of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Head of the Department of Cardiology, while also leading the Clinical Research Unit at a government hospital under the Ministry of Health of Indonesia. He holds a PhD with a research focus on artificial intelligence in cardiology. Dr. Santoso is actively involved as a proctor and mentor for complex PCI procedures in Indonesia and participates in regional multicenter research collaborations across Asia. His main areas of expertise and academic interest include complex PCI, coronary physiology and intravascular imaging, artificial intelligence in cardiovascular medicine, clinical cardiovascular research, and heart failure, which is currently a major focus of his research program.
