Biography
Prof. De Rosa graduated in Medicine at the Federico II University of Naples (Italy) in 2002, where he completed the Board in Cardiology in 2007 and the Ph.D. Program in Cardiovascular Science and Experimental Medicine in 2010.
Prof. De Rosa served at the Federico II University in Naples, the University of Bonn (Germany), Vienna (Austria), Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and at the Goethe University of Frankfurt (Germany) and currently works at the “Magna Graecia” University of Catanzaro (Italy). His research interests are focused on the pathophysiology of atherosclerosis, thrombosis and vascular biology, including the role played by non-coding RNAs.
Prof. De Rosa was the recipient of multiple research grants and was recognized Fellow by the ESC (Scientific Excellence), the SIC (Scholar in Cardiology) and GISE.
Prof. De Rosa is an active member of several international societies and serves in the Editorial Board of renowned peer-reviewed scientific journals in the cardiovascular field.
