Prof. Barbash is Director of Cath Lab Services at the Sheba MC. He is a Board member of the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) of the European Society of Cardiology and serves as the Chair of the Quality Improvement Committee at EAPCI. Professor Barbash is also the Chair of the Israeli Working Group on Interventional Cardiology of the Israel Heart Professor Barbash completed a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic – MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC, USA as well as graduating a Fellowship at the Cardiovascular Intervention Program at National Heart Lung and Blood Institute, National Institute of Health, Bethesda MD, USA. He is an expert in coronary and structural interventional cardiology, and has been studying basic and clinical cardiology for over 20 years. He has published more than 100 papers in the field of Cardiology and is renowned for his expertise in the field of Interventional Cardiology.
