Professor Huishan Wang

Huishan Wang, MD is a Chief Physician, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor, currently serving as Vice President and Director of Cardiovascular Surgery at the General Hospital of the Northern Theater Command, as well as Director of the Key Laboratory of Liaoning Province. Professor Wang was named an ESC Scientific Fellow in 2025. He plays an active role in several prestigious professional societies, serving as Chairman of the Atrial Fibrillation Professional Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association, a member of the American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS), a senior member of the Chinese Medical Association’s Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Committee, a senior member of the Chinese Medical Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons, and a member of the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery (ISMICS). Outside of his professional work, Professor Wang is fluent in Chinese and English.
