Biography
Madelon is currently a PhD student researching atrial fibrillation and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction since November 2023. Before starting her PhD she worked as a physician not in training at the cardiology departments of two different Dutch hospitals, and she will continue her career as a physician after finalizing her PhD in order to become a cardiologist. As part of her PhD program she also enjoys teaching both medical students as nursing students, and supervising internships.
