Birce Bayır, MD, is a cardiology resident at Etlik City Hospital with a strong interest in interventional and structural cardiology. She has participated in complex procedures including CTO PCI, paravalvular leak closure, ASD/PFO closure, TAVI and primary PCI for acute coronary syndromes. She is also involved in electrophysiology and device therapies, taking part in pacemaker, ICD and CRT implantations, electrophysiology studies, AF ablation (RF and cryo), as well as VES and VT ablations. She is preparing a thesis on CTO interventions and contributes to international and single-centre research projects. She has presented at major meetings, including EuroPCR 2025, and has an accepted oral presentation for the EAPCI Summit 2026. She speaks Turkish, English and pre-intermediate Swedish. She enjoys swimming, travelling and spending time with her dog Uma.
