Doctor Marcel van de Poll

Dr van de Poll is working as a surgeon and intensive care physician at Maastricht University Hospital, the Netherlands. His clinical expertise involve acute critical care, metabolism and nutrition and organ donation surgery. He is the principal investigator of the multi-centre INCEPTION trial that studied the clinical effectiveness of extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation in out-of hospital cardiac arrest during pragmatic application. In his free time he is a enthusiastic cyclist.
