Doctor Marcellus Francis Ramirez

Dr Marcellus Francis Ramirez is the head of the Arrhythmia Services and Pacemaker Clinic of the University of Santo Tomas Hospital and a consultant staff in the Department of Internal Medicine Section of Cardiology. He also serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine in the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. He is a former chairman of the Department of Medical Education and Research and former director of Cardiology Fellowship Training, and a past chairman of the Philippine Heart Association Council on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. He currently sits as Editor in Chief of the Philippine Journal of Cardiology, and as part of the editorial board of the Journal of Arrhythmia APHRS and Journal of Medicine University of Santo Tomas. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Philippine College of Cardiology and Philippine College of Physicians, and a member of the board of directors of Philippine Heart Rhythm Society.
