Yanis Dumpis graduated from Saint-Petersburg I. Pavlov' State Medical University (Russia) in 1994. He completed a residency in cardiovascular surgery in 1996 at the same university. In 1996 Dr.Dumpis was selected by Japanese Monbusho Scholarship Program to spend 2 years in the University as researcher conducting experimental study dedicated to septal cardiac pacing. In 1999-2008, Dr.Dumpis worked as a surgeon-arrhythmologist in 1-st Saint-Petersburg State Medical University and achieved a PhD Degree in 2005. His scientific work was primary dedicated to diagnostics of ARVC. Yanis Dumpis joined Medtronic in 2008 as a regional educational specialist in field of arrhythmology. Currently holds a position of T&E manager CRHF being responsible for Emerging Markets (CEMA + Russia).
